Things to Ponder

Problems are part of our daily lives. I myself could not think of a day I don't have a problem. They say problems are tests that hones us to become better individuals. They guide us through our decisions in life, and bring out the best in us. But how do we solve our problems? Can we count on which problems were solved and which are not? There are times when we thought our problems aren't solved but...

Here is a story about how someone solve his problems and track if all his problems are solved. I got this story from a parish priest homily in our parish church.

A certain man on his early 30's is so worried because he never had a day without a problem. His face is so messed up and lines are beginning to appear due to sleepless nights he's trying to figure out how to solve his problems. After a googol of second thoughts he decided to consult a friend.

"I never get to have a day without a problem. Im so worried that i can't sleep, eat or do things normally. How bout you? You looked happy and full of life, did you ever have a problem?" he asked.

His friend replied; "Of course I have problems, we all have."

"Really, it doesnt show","How do you manage to solve your problems?"he asked

"I didn't", his friend replied. Awed by his friends reply, the man drop his jaw, raised his eyebrow and asked.

"Then what did you do with it?"

His friend answered; "Every time I have a problem I write it in a piece of paper, put it in a box, keep it in my drawer and then pray."

"At the end of the week I open the box and contemplate on the problems I had for the week. Surprisingly 7 of 10 of my problems are solved unknowingly because of my actions for the past days. Now the remaining three problems unsolved, I return them to the box and pray. During weekends I contemplate on my unsolved problems and asked myself why it was not solved. But you know what answer I got after asking that question?"

"What?" asked the man to his friend

"That it was solved. I just thought it wasn't, because the solution to the problem is not what I expect it to be."

The man fell silent for a while, contemplate on his problems and then smiled.

"Now i know why I'm having a hard time solving my problems. "They were indeed solved, but I dont see that because the way it was solved is not the wayI wanted it to be."

LSS (Last Song Syndrome)

na..na..na..na.., heard a song, sang with it, and even if its done you play it over in your mind? Got stuck with the Last Song Syndrome(LSS). It happened to me a couple of times already and this is the last song im stuck with. Love it! Can't get over it.

Desperate for changing
Starving for truth
I'm closer to where I started
Chasing after you

I'm falling even more in love with you
Letting go of all I've held onto
I'm standing here until you make me move
I'm hanging by a moment here with you

Forgetting all I'm lacking
Completely incomplete
I'll take your invitation
You take all of me now...

I'm falling even more in love with you
Letting go of all I've held onto I
'm standing here until you make me move
I'm hanging by a moment here with you

I'm living for the only thing I know
I'm running and not quite sure where to go
And I don't know what I'm diving into
Just hanging by a moment here with you

There's nothing else to lose
There's nothing else to find
There's nothing in the world
That can change my mind

There is nothing else
There is nothing else
There is nothing else

Desperate for changing
Starving for truth
I'm closer to where I started
Chasing after you....

I'm falling even more in love with you
Letting go of all I've held onto
I'm standing here until you make me move
I'm hanging by a moment here with you

I'm living for the only thing I know
I'm running and not quite sure where to go
And I don't know what I'm diving into
Just hanging by a moment here with you

Just hanging by a moment (here with you)
Hanging by a moment (here with you)
Hanging by a moment here with you

Winter Outfit

Just like other famous designers, I tried creating a winter collection. So far, i have created only one. Happy days have passed and I'm not able to do some more. Again, using Paint as my drawing tool, I created this outfit as part of my winter collection. There is no big story as to how I come up with it, however the Wedding Gown outcome inspired me to create more. I also want to try drawing some interior designs using holographic 3d viewing. Hope you guys enjoy my post.

Meet the Snack Beauties

6:00PM Mall of Asia Grounds (Dr. Kwekwek Egg Specialist)Right after shift, its been a hobby that we hang out in a "Kwekwek store" talk, and then go home. One night while munching on crunchy "kwekwek" coating, an idea formulated. Queen began talking about "Starlets" (those known for x-rated films) and tried thinking of his own pseudonym as a starlet. Names rolled and Savannah Gomez struck her. Adopting that name from then on, he thought that we should have our own pseudonym's and of course our own group. Lots of names was discussed, and then we agreed on being the Snack Beauties. Fita Ferrer, Nova Madrigal, Kirei Moto, Kisses Malvar, and Magnolia Magbanua. Kisses and Magnolia were not there that time, so we decide the name for them.
From then on, we formally take the names with us as if were baptized with it during our kwekwek session. After that our whole wave was baptized with different names we could think of, eventually leading to the establishment of Champaca Pictures, our waves pseudonym.

Original Wedding Gown

Prior to the Odd Wedding Gown, when my QA friend asked me to draw a gown for her, my original concept was an old style, contemporary gown. Doodle, doodle, trying to get along with paint and I come up with a not so cool thingy-ma-bob. I showed it to her and she demanded an odd looking one. So I discard it, not knowing it was already saved. While I'm deleting junk files today, I suddenly come across with it. Surprised that it actually survived, I post it.

Dyosa Collectibles (Odd Wedding Gown)

Fashion designing has always been my ultimate dream. Unfortunately I was not given the talent to draw. My hands tremble and gets sweaty everytime I scribble or draw, but with the help of paint, my dream suddenly become a reality. I tried doodling some, which are of course unworthy of public scrutiny so I hide them. This one is so far the best I've got. Actually my friend, a QA asked me to draw a wedding gown for her. But she's too demanding. She wanted her wedding gown to be of a different color and style than the usual white. What d'ya think? Will my doodle pass?

Dreamhouse (Paint)

Ever dreamed of living somewhere and you feel like owning it? Then suddenly wake up finding out its all a dream? Iritating isn't it?, wish the dream is just the real life and real life is just a dream. It happened to me. And while at work doing nothing I tried to doodle my dreamhouse with the help of paint. And here is what i came up with.
